Was horrified to see that P&O have started to charge for life-jackets on the Larne ferry to Cairnryan. In the panic to evacuate your sinking ship you are expected to fumble around for 20p in order to save your life. Paupers go down along with the captain I suppose!
He lives by our back door. He likes people, blades of grass and flower bulbs. He also likes the limelight. I suspect he has not long for this world.
Off to the aeroplane hospital you go. Hopefully to emerge transmogrified in time for Ludlow Fringe Festival. Courtesy of Matt Smart Sculptor.
…out in the midday sun yesterday. The walk from Aberystwyth to Borth, visually stunning, physically exhilarating and nature-watchingly spectacular. A pair of swirling choughs just north of Clarach and a Great Grey Shrike high above Sarn Gynfelin. The day capped with a Dolphin lazily swimming 10 yards off shore to ale-supping delight from the deck of the Victoria Inn.
Revisting a childhood haunt.
