Caught the last of the good-to-marginal flying weather to take a triangular trip with Gareth Writer-Davies. Followed the sharp boundary between fogged-in and clear air first to overhead the Radnor Hills and a look at Black Mixen with its impressive mast. Then, skimming the edge of the murky stuff to overfly Bannau Brycheiniog at 5,000ft+. That’s Pen y Fan in one of the pics. Back across southern Elenydd to Lampeter then over Cors Caron, Llynoedd Teifi and back to Welshpool and a cup of tea and something that rhymes with tea.
